How to Write a Good Page Title and Meta Description for a Repair Shop

The page title is usually the blue headline in Google results and the text on the browser tab. The meta description is a short summary that Google may show under it. They're your first impression in search, so make them clear and specific.

Google decides what to show and sometimes rewrites titles or picks other text from your page, but a good title and description give it the best material to work with.

Example: "Family-owned auto repair in Springfield since 1998. Brakes, diagnostics, A/C and maintenance for all makes. Open Mon–Sat. Call or book online."

Where to edit them

In most builders, look for "SEO settings" or "Search preview" in each page's settings. In WordPress, SEO plugins add these fields under the page editor. Our free check flags a missing title or meta description.
